Dinosaurs! And birthday fun too :)

Today we had a ton of fun celebrating Bella and Elena's birthdays!  We got to have a special ice cram treat with snack and also with lunch, it was a grat day (and we even got to go OUTSIDE to play)!  We are also having so much fun learning facts about dinosaurs this week, we have already learned so many cool things, especially about triceratops - we even made our own triceratops pictures today!

Monster Fun!

We had a lot of fun today with sticky building, it's a blast to make our designs stick to the wall :)!

Happy Friday

This week was filled with space fun, and today we finished it off by making fur own planets, which were mostly named Pluto for some reason, I think we must have felt bad for real Pluto!  Today we also celebrated Ella's half birthday :). She will be 5 in the middle of the summer so she shared some treats with us for 41/2 instead... They were YUMMY!

Iowa Gymest

Hello! We had so much fun at the gym today! It was the perfect way to burn of some energy, especially in the cold cold winter!  They had so many fun activities set up, we got to play on balance beams, jump in a giant foam or, practice our somersaults, jump on trampolines and MORE!  All of the teachers worked together to get pictures today, over the next couple of days we will all load hem to shutterfly - make sure to look at each classes pages forum pictures, they will be labeled "Iowa Gymnest!"

Space Fun!

We splatter painted to make a sky of stars and constellations!  It was super messy but so much fun :)!

Finding numbers in the stars had been a blast, and a great way to practice!

Science Fun!

Good afternoon all!  Today we did a really cool science experiment that is worth a try at home today too, it is quick and easy!  I'm sure some of you have seen that you can boil water and watch it turn into snow dust - we gave it a try and IT WORKS!  I was a little skeptical, but we had so much fun as a class watching our water turn to "dust" right in front of our eyes!  

Bonus - we were OUTSIDE! It was a great day :)!
