Humpty Dumpty
This week we are learning all about nursery rhymes, we had a blast talking about some of the rhymes that we know and love! Today we read a few rhymes, a favorite was Humpty Dumpty! We then made some silly Humpty dumptys of our own during art :)! All things horses and all the kings men couldn't put Humpty together again, but with some glue and a band aid or two, we made Humpty look brand new!

Graduation Week
Happy Monday!
Graduation is almost here, I can't believe it! Only 4 more days! This week we are talking all about how much we have grown this year! Today we made stars, to show how bright we shine :) It was a lot of fun to hear everyone's drams for when they grow up, we even practiced a little in the dramatic play center :)!

Treasure Maps!
Today we talked about the most exciting kind of maps, treasure maps! We had do much fun making our own treasure maps, our science this week was to make our map look old! This was so much fun, we used tea to paint on our paper and it gave it a great aged look! Some of us also crumpled and ripped our paper, this was a blast - it's not to often we are actually supposed to crumple and rip our artwork!
Having a fun day of Maps!
Happy Thursday!
Today we had a blast continuing to learn all about maps! We had so much fun talking about roads, and how we give roads names so that we aren't confused about directions! We loved talking about the streets that we live on during circle time! Ms. Katie let us borrow her map of Iowa today, this was a huge hit and we had so much fun looking at how many different roads and cities there are!
If anyone has ever used a map, you know they are just about impossible to manage and fold back up, our monkey friends did such a great job still, and it's size was half the fun!
