Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween week! We are so excited to be making witches brew, flying high on broomsticks, talking about skeletons and mummy's and so much more! We are learning about the letter S this week, it is perfect for silly and spooky days! We are also excited to wish our new friend Kadence a happy happy birthday!

Bloomsbury Farms

We had such a great time last week visiting Bloomsbury Farms, here are just a few pictures from our trip!  Thank you to all of the parents who came out to join us, it was so much fun!

Today we had some fun cooking pumpkin sees! First we scooped seeds out of the pumpkin, then we mixed them in a bowl with cooking oil, next we spread them on a cookie sheet covered in foil, we then salted half, and seasoned the other half. When they were ready, we baked them at 300 until they were golden brown! We will be trying them this afternoon with afternoon snack!!

More pumpkins and a happy birthday Payton!

This week is all about pumpkins! We had do much fun reading about the life of a pumpkin, we even planted our own pumpkin seeds in dramatic play and pretended to be farmers growing giant sized pumpkins! There was some cool pumpkin stacking, too!

We had a very special visit from Ms. Mandy today to tell us a story about Moses and the Israelites! Thanks to Andrew and Grace for volunteering to dress up! She also taught us some fun new dance moves!

Here is some of our fun from the last couple of days, we had a blast enjoying some sun, learning more about Eric Carle and doing a science experiment to make gummy worms dance!
